Our story
Sartoria Ismara was founded in Milan in 2005 as a "made-to-measure" tailor shop.
A few years have passed since then and some things have changed, but others
certainly haven't.
Just like at the beginning, we design and erase, we sew and unpick everything home-made.
Just like at the beginning, we feel aligned with the principles of Informed Fashion and want
to respect its methods and goals.
Just like at the beginning, we really do love clothes.

What we do:
Coats and jackets, sweaters and trousers, dresses and convertible pieces. We’ve said it before: we love clothes.
Our favorite thing? We honestly don't know… that's why we decided to create two capsule collections (Women's and Men's) that fully represent our taste for stubbornly versatile garments, perfect for the notary and the baker; at home, at the office, and on the commute between the two. Identifying features? Beautiful and comfortable.
And also: tailored details, natural fabrics, and comfortable fits.
