Homemade, yesterday as today

Sartoria Ismara was founded in Milan in 2005 as a bespoke tailor.
Since then, time has passed, some things have changed, but many others have not.

Even today, we design and discard, sew and unsew everything in-house.
It's a slow process, made of trials, attention, and small adjustments. It's our way of working, the same as when we started.

We identify with the themes of Informed Fashion and try to respect its methods and objectives, carefully choosing how and what to produce. Each garment is born from a precise idea and takes shape step by step.

We don't follow the seasons at all costs. We prefer to create garments that last, that accompany the wearer over time. Because for us, fashion is not just aesthetics, but also awareness.
